JOB-DESCRIPTION:
Role Overview
This position involves supporting advertisers, trading desks, agencies and networks that use DBM to manage/run high revenue campaigns. The campaign manager will be required to support the global Account Managers (AMs) and Digital Media Manager (DMM) teams, and coordinate, analyze and manage campaign management activity. In addition, the CM will be the main point of contact for AMs and DMMs by coordinating ad review, trafficking, support and reporting needs with the various other groups involved to manage client campaigns effectively (to achieve client spend and performance targets).
Responsibilities
Knowledge and Use of Tools
Understands and can explain the display ecosystem of ad networks, DSPs, 1st and 3rd party audience targeting and technology, online measurement, ad operations and Google display ad buying, delivery and measurement platforms.
Understands client campaign goals, budgets, flight dates and any other data that is necessary to correctly onboard a client to provide campaign management services.
Demonstrates proficiency using all relevant software tools: Google Docs, Microsoft Excel (basic and advanced), Microsoft PowerPoint.
Demonstrates mastery of the DBM platform and proficiency using necessary aspects of DCM platform that are integrated with DBM (completes DBM and DCM certification).
Stays up-to-date with product knowledge to make effective recommendations for improved performance.
Demonstrates mastery of and leverages Trafficking tools for Trafficking requests, Ad Review team for creative approvals, DBM Support tools for support requests, and Product feedback channels for submitting bugs and feature requests.
Execution and Productivity
Works with DMM/AM as required or independently if needed to develop appropriate campaign strategies to support the pursuit of campaign goals and implements them within DBM (including campaign setup and optimization).
Adjusts working style to meet the needs of specific DMMs / AMs and clients.
Correctly interprets media plan and I/O to guide and audit IO/Line Item set up by Trafficking team prior to launching campaigns or after specific adjustments have been made.
Monitors campaign pacing and analyzes campaign performance on a regular (daily/intra day) basis to determine adherence to budget and performance goals.
Develops data-driven analysis and campaign optimization recommendations and (with/without DMM / AM approval depending on the client) implements them to drive performance to meet or exceed campaign goal(s).
Provides guidance and consultative platform utilization expertise to account managers DMMs / AMs and/or clients to drive additional budget allocation from clients by meeting spend expectations, beating campaign goals and identifying additional growth opportunities.
Barring external factors, monitors and optimizes campaigns effectively to make the performance on par or better MoM, improving advertiser ROI.
Communication
Diligently documents campaign optimization recommendations/changes made over the course of a campaign (using tracking and notes docs) to ensure that clarity on the current and past state of campaign is available to all stakeholders at any given point in time (and recurrence of any negatively impactful changes is avoided).
Effectively communicates campaign progress and performance against budget and performance goals to relevant stakeholders on periodic basis using simple, clear and concise language.
Sets appropriate expectations for all deliverables and alerts DMM/AM if any deliverables are going to be delayed.
Demonstrates comfort using email, chat client (GChat or other) and Google Hangouts.
When speaking and/or writing, uses proper English grammar with minimal errors.
Demonstrates solid English pronunciation and projects confidence when speaking.
For non-English markets, demonstrates full proficiency (written,spoken) in location language.
ELIGIBILITY :
* Experience in Adwords or Campaign Ad-optimization is must.
Sr. MANAGER : (Campaign Optimization)
10+ years of work experience in Adwords / Optimization.
Must having Experienced in Team-Handling.
TEAMLEADER : (Campaign Optimization)
5+ years of work experience in Adwords / Optimization.
Experienced in Team-Handling is an added advantage.
SME : (Campaign Optimization)
3+ years of work experience in Adwords / Optimization.
SPE : (Campaign Optimization)
12+ Months of work experience in Adwords / Optimization.
Mandatory Skills Required :.
* Experience in Adwords or Ad-optimization is must.
2-8 years of client-facing experience in account management, customer support and/or display advertising, SEM/PPC Adwords.
Strong understanding of online advertising (display and/or search) and 3rd party advertising concepts.
Familiarity with ad-serving platforms such as DFA or DFP, as well as YouTube for advertising.
High degree of MS Excel proficiency (including advanced features such as Functions and Pivot Tables)
Proven ability to become expert in new technologies in a short time frame.
Strong communication skills with a proactive and positive approach to tasks.
Objective and analytical approach to decision making
Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Flexible to work in night shifts.
